Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine and accessories from packaging.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into a 120V AC outlet.
  3. Install foot pedal and connect to machine port.
  4. Attach presser foot by lowering the presser foot lever and snapping foot into place.
  5. Wind and insert the bobbin (refer to Threading section).

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during setup and operation. Ensure machine is unplugged during initial assembly.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; familiarize yourself with controls.

  1. Thread the machine: Follow threading path marked on machine; use automatic needle threader if available.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place wound bobbin in bobbin case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern (e.g., straight stitch).

Threading the Machine

  5. Pull thread under presser foot toward back.

Bobbin Winding and Insertion:

  3. Insert wound bobbin into bobbin case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  4. Pull thread through slot and under tension spring.

Tip: Always use the same thread type for both bobbin and upper threading for best results.
