Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor near a 240V outlet and proper venting location.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Take off all tape, brackets, and foam from drum and interior.
  2. Connect exhaust vent: Use a rigid or flexible metal duct (not plastic) to vent outdoors. Keep duct as short and straight as possible.
  3. Level the dryer: Adjust leveling feet so dryer is stable and does not rock.
  4. Electrical connection: Plug into a dedicated 240V, 30-amp outlet. Ensure power is off during connection.

WARNING! Dryer is heavy; use two people to move. Do not crush or kink the exhaust duct. Ensure proper grounding.

First-Time Setup

After installation, perform initial checks before first use.

  1. Inspect lint filter: Ensure it is clean and properly seated.
  2. Check drum: Remove any remaining packaging materials.
  3. Test door: Open and close to ensure it latches securely and activates door switch.
  4. Run a test cycle: Select a short cycle (like Air Fluff) with no load to verify operation and venting.

CAUTION! Do not operate without proper venting. Ensure area around dryer is clear of flammable materials.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: Cycle Selector Knob, Temperature Control, Start Button.

Cycle Descriptions:

Options: Wrinkle Prevention (tumbles intermittently after cycle), End-of-Cycle Signal (can be turned on/off on some models).

Connecting to Power

Requires a dedicated 240V, 30-amp circuit with a 4-prong outlet.

  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Plug the 4-prong power cord into the matching outlet.
  3. Ensure the cord is not pinched or damaged.
  4. Restore power at the breaker.

Tip: Have a qualified electrician install the outlet if not present. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.

Operating the Dryer

  2. Clean lint filter: Before every cycle, remove and clean the lint filter.
  3. Select cycle: Turn knob to desired cycle.
  4. Select temperature: Choose appropriate heat setting for the fabric.
  5. Start: Press Start button. Dryer will begin.
  6. During cycle: You may pause by opening the door. Close door to resume.
  7. At end: Remove clothes promptly to minimize wrinkles. Clean lint filter again.

WARNING! Do not dry items that have been in contact with flammable substances. Do not block vent or exhaust.

Safety Features

Thermal Fuse: Cuts power if dryer overheats. Door Switch: Stops drum rotation when door is opened. Lint Filter Warning: Reduced airflow due to clogged filter can trigger longer drying times or overheating.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug dryer before cleaning. Clean lint filter after every load. Periodically vacuum lint from around the lint filter housing and from the exhaust duct. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Accumulated lint is a fire hazard. Never operate without the lint filter in place.
