Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level floor near water and drain connections.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Take out transit bolts from rear panel.
  2. Level the washer: Adjust front feet using wrench; ensure machine is stable.
  3. Connect water supply: Attach hot and cold hoses to corresponding faucets.
  4. Connect drain hose: Insert into standpipe or laundry sink; secure with hook.
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet.

WARNING! Do not remove transit bolts before moving to final location. Ensure water connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, run an initial cleaning cycle.

  1. Power on washer: Plug in and press POWER button.
  2. Select cleaning cycle: Choose "Clean Washer" or run a hot cycle with bleach.
  3. Load detergent: Use HE detergent only; follow manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Start cycle: Close door and press START/PAUSE.
  5. Set preferences: Adjust default settings like end-of-cycle signal if desired.

CAUTION! Use only High Efficiency (HE) detergent to prevent oversudsing. Do not overload the drum.

Connecting Utilities

Water: Hot and cold inlet hoses. Drain: Standpipe or laundry sink. Electrical: Grounded 120V outlet.

  1. Turn off water supply before connecting hoses.
  2. Use only new hoses; do not reuse old ones.
  3. Ensure drain hose is not inserted more than 6" into standpipe.
  4. Plug into dedicated circuit; avoid extension cords.

Tip: Check for leaks after connections; run a test cycle to confirm proper operation.

Operating the Washer

Follow these steps for daily use.

  1. Load laundry: Open door, place clothes loosely in drum; do not overload.
  2. Add detergent: Pour HE detergent into main wash compartment.
  3. Add additives: Use bleach and fabric softener compartments as needed.
  4. Select cycle: Turn knob to desired cycle; adjust options (temp, spin, etc.).
  5. Start: Close door firmly; press START/PAUSE.
  6. Pause/Stop: Press START/PAUSE to pause; press again to resume. Hold to cancel.
  7. Unload: Wait for door lock to release; remove clothes promptly.

WARNING! Do not open door during spin cycle. Keep children away from operating machine.
