Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location is level and near gas supply.

  1. Connect gas supply: Shut off gas; use flexible gas connector (1/2" NPT); apply pipe thread sealant.
  2. Check for leaks: Apply soap solution to connections; bubbles indicate leak.
  3. Position range: Slide into space; ensure 1-inch clearance from rear wall.
  4. Level the range: Adjust leveling legs at each corner.
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet (for clock, ignition, light).

WARNING! Gas installation must be performed by qualified technician. Ensure adequate ventilation.

First-Time Setup

After installation, perform initial setup.

  1. Remove packaging: Take off all tape, cardboard, and protective film.
  2. Install burner caps and grates: Place caps on burners; set grates on top.
  3. Set clock: Press CLOCK button; use +/- to set time.
  4. Test ignition: Turn each burner knob to LITE; listen for spark and flame.
  5. Test oven: Set to BAKE at 350°F; verify ignition and heating.

Cooking with Burners & Oven

Burners: Use appropriate size cookware; center on grate.

  1. Ignite burner: Push and turn knob to LITE; release when lit.
  2. Adjust flame: Turn between LO and HI.
  3. Simmer: Use LO setting with lid.

Oven:

  1. Preheat: Set temperature; wait for preheat indicator.
  2. Bake: Place food on center rack.
  3. Broil: Set to BROIL; place pan on broiler drawer.
  4. Convection: For even baking; reduce recipe temperature by 25°F.
