Bag Replacement

Use genuine Kenmore HEPA Type S bags.

  1. Unplug vacuum and lay on its back.
  2. Press bag door latch and open door fully.
  3. Remove full bag by pulling tab; discard properly.
  4. Insert new bag into compartment, ensuring seal is tight.
  5. Close door until it clicks securely.

CAUTION! Do not use non-HEPA or generic bags; may reduce suction and filtration.

Belt Inspection

Inspect drive belt every 6 months or if brush roll stops turning.

  2. Remove screws from bottom plate to access brush roll.
  3. Check belt for cracks, fraying, or looseness.
