Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level floor.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Take out transit bolts and packing.
  2. Connect water supply: Attach hot and cold water hoses to corresponding faucets.
  3. Connect drain hose: Secure to standpipe or laundry sink.
  4. Level the washer: Adjust front leveling legs to prevent vibration.
  5. Plug into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not remove transit bolts before moving washer into final position. Ensure water connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, run an initial cleaning cycle.

  1. Ensure washer is level and all connections are secure.
  2. Turn on water supply faucets fully.
  3. Plug in the washer.
  4. Run a Clean Washer cycle (or a Normal cycle with bleach) without clothes to remove any residue.
  5. Familiarize yourself with the control panel settings.

CAUTION! Do not use the washer without removing all shipping materials. Keep the area around the washer clear for ventilation.

Access settings via the control panel. Power Button: Turns washer on/off.

Cycle Selector Knob/Buttons: Turn to select desired wash cycle (Normal, Heavy Duty, Delicates, etc.).

Settings: Soil Level (Light, Normal, Heavy), Load Size (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large), Temperature (Hot, Warm, Cold, Tap Cold). Options: Delay Start (1-24 hours), Extra Rinse, Pre-Soak, Energy Saver. Start/Pause Button: Begins or pauses the selected cycle.

Connecting Water Supply

Hot and Cold water hoses required. Drain hose must be secured.

  1. Turn off water supply at faucets before connecting hoses.
  2. Connect the hot water hose (typically red) to the hot water faucet and the hot water inlet on the washer.
  3. Connect the cold water hose (typically blue) to the cold water faucet and the cold water inlet on the washer.
  4. Secure the drain hose to a standpipe (minimum height 39") or laundry sink.
  5. Turn water supply faucets on fully and check for leaks.

Tip: Use only new hoses. Do not overtighten connections.

Operating the Washer

Supports various fabric types and soil levels.

  1. Load clothes: Do not overload. Mix large and small items.
  2. Add detergent: Use HE (High-Efficiency) detergent only. Add to dispenser or basket as directed.
  3. Select Cycle: Turn knob/press button for desired cycle (e.g., Normal for cottons).
  4. Adjust Settings: Select Soil Level, Load Size, and Water Temperature.
  5. Add Options: Select Extra Rinse, Pre-Soak, or Delay Start if needed.
  6. Start: Close lid and press Start/Pause. Lid will lock during wash cycle.
  7. Unload: Wait for cycle to complete and lid to unlock. Remove clothes promptly.

WARNING! Do not open the lid during the spin cycle. Always use HE detergent to prevent oversudsing.

Special Features

Delay Start: Program washer to start up to 24 hours later. Soak Option: For heavily soiled loads, adds a pre-wash soak period. Extra Rinse: Adds an additional rinse cycle for sensitive skin or detergent residue. Energy Saver: Uses less hot water and adjusts cycle for energy efficiency.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning exterior. Wipe control panel and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the lint filter (if equipped) monthly. Run a Clean Washer cycle or a hot water cycle with washer cleaner monthly to prevent odors.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lid open between cycles to allow moisture to evaporate.
