Installation

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare dishwasher for first use.

Loading the Dishwasher

Proper loading ensures optimal cleaning and prevents damage.

  1. Scrape off large food particles; no pre-rinsing needed for most cycles.
  2. Load lower rack: Place plates, pots, pans facing center; avoid blocking spray arm.
  3. Load upper rack: Cups, glasses, bowls on tines; adjust rack height if needed.
  4. Silverware basket: Mix utensils; place knives blade down for safety.
  5. Third rack (if available): Utensils, small tools, lids.
  6. Use detergent: Fill compartments as directed; use rinse aid for spot-free drying.

Tip: Do not overload; ensure water spray can reach all surfaces.

Wash Cycles and Options

Select cycle based on load type and soil level.

  1. Normal Cycle: For everyday dishes, combines wash, rinse, dry.
  2. Heavy Cycle: For heavily soiled pots/pans, longer wash with high temp.
  3. Light Cycle: For lightly soiled or delicate items, shorter wash.
  4. Rinse Only: Rinses without detergent, useful for partial loads.
  5. Energy Saver: Uses less water and energy, longer dry time optional.
  6. Sanitize Cycle: Heats water to sanitizing temperature (150°F+).
